Infinix Note 4 with 4300mAh battery & 13MP Camera: Specs and Price

The Infinix Note 4 was launched along with a variant, the Infinix Note 4 Pro early in 2017, and has many of its specifications similar to the Note 3, its predecessor. The Infinix Note 4 is a moderately-sized device with a superb display and nice cameras. There’s also something in it for the power users, as it packs a 4300mAh battery capacity that can last for more than a day even on heavy usage.

Infinix Note 4 In-depth Specifications

Display & Design

The Infinix Note 4 comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display which is large enough to allow you watch videos and read e-books conveniently, yet compact enough to fit comfortably into the hands. The display has a Full HD (1080 by 1920) pixel resolution which is quite unusual for smartphones in its price range. This and a pixel density of around 386 PPI mean that the Note 4’s has a clear and crisp display, one of the best you would find in the mid-range category.

Infinix Note 4 Design

The smartphone’s bezels are a bit large, but the one on the bottom is understandable because it houses a physical home button which itself is embedded with a fingerprint sensor that can be used to unlock the device and perform some other functions. It uses capacitive buttons for navigation and comes with a glossy back cover that can be scratched easily.

The Note 4 is 198 grammes, which isn’t too bad when you consider its large battery capacity. A thickness of 8.4 millimetres is also not too bad for a smartphone with these specifications.

Performance, Storage & Memory

An octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor that operates at a maximum speed of 1.3GHz powers the smartphone’s operations with assistance from a Mali-T720 GPU which processes the device’s graphics. The device is powerful enough to play high-end games with little or no lag, and benchmark results are quite impressive.

In terms of storage and memory, the Note 4 comes in two variants, the first with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, and the second with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both offer efficient multi-tasking, and storage can be expanded to up to 128GB using an external microSD card slot.

Camera

The 13MP camera on the rear of the Infinix Note 4 takes clear pictures in daylight, and low-light photography is aided by a dual-tone LED flash that lies below the main camera on the smartphone’s rear. It also has autofocus so you don’t have to keep tapping on objects you want to capture on the screen.

An 8MP camera is responsible for taking selfies on the Note 4, and you won’t find much difference in the quality of selfies taken with this phone and the 13MP selfie camera on some other phones. There’s also a LED flash on the front for low-light selfie photography.

Battery, Connectivity & Software

The Infinix Note 4 packs a 4,300mAh battery that can last for more than a day, even if you use it heavily. The only downside to big batteries such as these is the time they take to charge, but this is not an issue with the Note 4 as it comes with Xcharge fast charging technology which sees it getting a full charge in less than two hours.

One advantage the Note 4 has over its predecessor is its 4G LTE network connectivity that supports most network operators in the country. The Infinix Note 4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box version 2.3 of Infinix’s custom UI, XOS Chameleon.

Infinix Note 4 Price and Availability

The Infinix Note 4 currently costs around N58,000 on Jumia, but you can get it for just around N50,000 ($138.99) on Gearbest. If you’re wondering how you can purchase products on Gearbest and get them here in Nigeria, we made an extensive guide on this for you.
