Infinix Note 4 Pro with 4500mAh battery & Xpen (Stylus Pen): Specs & Price

As its name suggests, the Infinix Note 4 Pro is a better variant of the Infinix Note 4. You wouldn’t notice if you’re looking at it from the design standpoint, and even though many of the specifications and features remain the same, the Infinix Note 4 Pro comes with the battery capacity bumped up to 4500mAh from 4300mAh in the Note 4.

This offers a longer usage time, and there’s an added stylus pen called Xpen that can be used to control the smartphone as an alternative to using the touchscreen directly. The Note 4 Pro also comes in just one memory and storage version as opposed to the Note 4 that’s available in two.

Infinix Note 4 Pro In-depth Specifications

Display & Design

The Infinix Note 4 Pro is designed in the same way as its sibling in the series, the Note 4. The physical home button on the bottom bezel at the front is nested between two capacitive navigation buttons and houses the fingerprint sensor which is used to unlock the smartphone.

Infinix Note 4 Pro Display

The Note 4 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display which has a Full HD (1,080 * 1,920) pixel resolution and 386 PPI pixel density. This offers clear text and images, and is one of the best displays you can find on a smartphone with the Note 4 Pro’s price tag. The battery increase on the Note 4 Pro caused a small increase in the weight to 200g, but the phone still remains moderately slim at 8.3 millimetres.

Performance, Storage & Memory

The Infinix Note 4 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor SoC with a clock speed of 1.3GHz and a Mali-T720 GPU. The combination of these makes the smartphone capable of running most apps conveniently, and 3GB of RAM available onboard allows you to multi-task effectively between different apps.

Unlike the Note 4 which comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage versions, the Infinix Note 4 Pro comes with 32GB  of internal storage by default, also offering you the option of expanding the onboard storage up to 128GB via its external microSD card slot.

Camera

The Infinix Note 4 Pro sports a 13-megapixel camera which takes great photos on the rear with the help of a dual-tone LED flash, and an 8-megapixel camera that is aided by a single LED flash and delivers decent selfies is present upfront.

Battery & Connectivity

As mentioned earlier, the Infinix Note 4 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery that can last for up to two days if managed well, and is sure to deliver more than a day’s battery life even when used heavily. It also comes with Xcharge, a fast charging mechanism that delivers a full charge in less than two hours.

As for connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE networks which is one of the advantages it has over its predecessor, the Infinix Note 3.

Software & Hardware

The Infinix Note 4 Pro runs out of the box with version 7.0 (Nougat) of the Android operating system as the underlying software, upon which XOS 2.3, Infinix’s custom user interface for its smartphones is layered.

Infinix Note 4 Pro Xpen

In terms of hardware, the Note 4 Pro comes with the Xpen, a stylus pen that can be used to operate the smartphone. There’s a slot in the phone case included in the Note 4 Pro’s package in which you can safely keep the Xpen when it’s not in use.

Infinix Note 4 Pro Price and Availability

The Infinix Note 4 Pro currently costs around N70,000 on Jumia, but you can get it for just around N60,000 ($158.99) on Gearbest. If you’re wondering how you can purchase products on Gearbest and get them here in Nigeria, we made an extensive guide on this for you.
