Easy step-by-step method on How to Save Profile Pictures on Instagram

Hey there! Wanna save your friend’s or favorite celebrity’s profile picture on Instagram? Cool. We will show you how to save Instagram profile picture in subsequent paragraphs.

Instagram is a picture and video sharing platform that is growing and gaining more attention and thousands of users every single day.

On the media sharing platform, you sometimes come across a content (video or picture) that you deem very useful and would want to have it on your device for reference purposes or to be used later. Most of the time, contents that catch your interest are often the ones shared by users and thanks to several third-party applications, downloading/saving them on your devices became easy.

However, certain profile pictures are catchy and you wanna have them on your phone or even use them as your profile picture too, but sadly, Instagram doesn’t even allow viewing of profile pictures, speak less of downloading it. But just as it is with shared contents, there is a way to view profile pictures of users on Instagram, and even save them to your device.

Here’s how.

How to Save Instagram Profile Picture on Android

Viewing and saving profile photos on Instagram is made possible by using a third-party app. While there are many applications on the Google Play Store that can do this, we recommend a particular one – Insta Big Picture Profil by Restrod Quickerwa.

Installing The App

  1. Open your Google Play Store app and search for Insta Big Picture Profil.
  2. Click on the app from the search results and install.
  3. After installation, launch the app.

Using The App

  1. When launched, you are faced with a dashboard that looks like the one below.

  3. Type in the username, as seen below. I typed in TechAbattoir’s Instagram username (techabattoir).
  4. Click the search button on your keyboard and leave the app to fetch the profile picture.
