There are tons of Android-powered smartphones out there, but the Leagoo Z7 is probably the cheapest.
Leagoo is a China-based OEM with an amazing portfolio of devices to its name. Recently joining the Full-View display trend with the Leagoo S8 and S8 Plus in September 2017, the budding releases something even cheaper, the entry-level Z7 for users on the lookout for a low-priced Android phone.

Leagoo Z7 In-depth Specifications
Display & Design
The Leagoo Z7 comes with a form factor that totally gives it off as an entry-level smartphone. The device has a plastic body all through and a not-too-catchy overall body design. The Z7 is also particularly thick (at 9mm) and is available in Gold, Black, Silver, Blue colour variants.
On the rear, the device comes with a roughly textured back cover for aesthetic purposes but also allows for firm grip of the device. The dual rear camera can be seen, neatly embedded at the top-centre with the LED right below and the speaker grill at the bottom left corner.
I have my reservations as to the position of the speaker grills though. This means you’d have to turn the Z7 face down to have the best audio experience whenever you are playing music and you want to place the device on a surface.
The Leagoo Z7 comes with a 5.0 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with an FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution. The display may not be the best display out there but it would do pretty well and produce decent images and colours of average quality.
One particular thing I love about the screen is the 2.5D curved glass that covers the display. Though not scratch resistant or shatter-proof, it gives the Leagoo Z7 a somewhat premium appearance.
Performance, Storage & Memory
The Leagoo Z7 comes with a Spreadtrum SC9832A SoC under the hood. The chip has four ARM Cortex-A7 processor that clocks a frequency of up to 1.3GHz. The ARM Mali-400 GPU is in place to assist the SoC in the aspect of graphical representation.
Being a budget device, the Leagoo Z7 comes with 1GB of RAM for multitasking and a meagre 8GB if built-in memory. There is, however, a dedicated Micro SD card slot under the back cover that allows storage expansion to the tune of 32GB.
Camera
Coming with a total of three cameras, the Leagoo Z7 aims to the King of entry-level budget smartphones camera-wise.
As mentioned earlier, the device comes with a dual camera set-up on the rear; 5MP primary shooter, 2MP secondary lens and a single LED flash. I can’t really say much about the quality of these lenses until I subject them to real life testing, but I expect them to perform averagely.
The front/selfie camera is a single 2MP lens with its individual LED flash.
Battery, Connectivity & Software
When the back cover is removed, you are faced with the device’s battery. The battery pack is detachable Lithium Ion cell and of 3,000mAh capacity.
Leagoo laced the Z7 with the latest version of its native OS, the Leagoo OS 3.0. The operating system is based on the Android Nougat 7.0 OS and supports Bluetooth v4.0, 2G, 3G and 4G network connectivity.
