On the Elephone S8, the China-based OEM carefully selected trending features like bezel-less displays, 4,000mAh battery and embedded on the device and even further spiced the S8 with add-ons like 2K display, a super fast processor and more (affordable price point) as condiments.

Let’s talk the Elephone S8.

Elephone S8

On the outside, the Elephone S8 is a total beauty. A fine piece of glossy rectangular metal slab. The device is a really big one (weighs 180 grams and measures 158.0 mm x 80.0 mm x 8.0 mm in dimension) but yet manages to be a little light in the hands despite its size and internal components.

Elephone S8

One of the major highlight specs of the Elephone S8 smartphone is the display. The S8 comes with a tri-bezeless 6.0-inch display with a 2K resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). The display quality of the Elephone S8 is undoubtedly my favourite thing about the device. Being a display using the IPS technology, sharp and bright images and colours with decent contrast and viewing angles is definitely assured.

There is a fingerprint scanner below the display and to allow the S8 be as tri-bezeless as possible, the selfie camera has been moved to the bottom right corner on the front.

There is a single 21-megapixel lens on the rear and an 8-megapixels selfie shooter up front.

The device lacks the 3.5mm headphone jack so you are left with a USB to headphone adapter that ships with the device.

Elephone S8

On the inside, the Elephone S8 does equally amazing; using the MediaTek Helio X25 SoC with Deca-core that can clock up to 2.5GHz. There is 4GB of RAM in place for multitasking and 64GB for file storage.

Battery-wise, the S8 is also a monster. The 4,000mAh battery of the device is not detachable but long-lasting. Thanks to the inherent Fast Charging capability, the device’s battery fills up in about 2 and a half hours.

The Elephone S8 is available for purchase in all stores around the globe. The device can be purchased at a price range of $229 to about $240. All the amazing specs and of the device for below $250.
